Who I Am

I am trained as a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service provider designation in the United States. My professional foundation is rooted in a deep respect for the complexity of human experience—especially when life doesn’t fit neatly into one culture, identity, or place.

My professional identity has also been greatly informed by my own personal work in ongoing individual, couples, and/or group therapy since age 20. I have deep compassion for the client experience and work to offer others the same curiosity, hope, and wholehearted presence that have been so transformative in my own life.

I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate transitions across the family developmental life cycle.

I also work with clients experiencing complicated or unresolved grief. Whether the loss is tied to a person, place, unrealized life stage, sense of home, or unmet desire (among others), I believe all therapy contains grief work. The process of finding meaningful ways to acknowledge what has been lost, integrate it into your story, and create space for what’s still to come will be an important part of our time together.

My approach is growth-oriented and collaborative. I offer a lot of direct feedback and welcome direct feedback from clients. I invite you to reflect on what part of your current experience you’re able to change—whether that change is in your circumstances or how you relate to them. Together we focus on creating movement where you feel stuck and cultivating a sense of empowerment and personal responsibility.
